Our Story

Glacier Sotheby's International Realty was founded in 1998 to provide real estate and marketing expertise for Iron Horse Golf Community, a luxurious new private residential golf community in Whitefish, Montana. Our business was built by taking advantage of existing relationships in the national network of luxury second–home owners. We were privileged to become the Exclusive Affiliate of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC. for Flathead & Lake Counties, which evolved into a franchise in 2004.

Glacier Sotheby's International Realty now boasts four offices in Northwest Montana. Our flagship office is in downtown Whitefish on Baker Avenue. Our second Whitefish Office is on the way to Whitefish Lake, Iron Horse Golf Community, and Whitefish Mountain Resort. Our third Whitefish Office is located at Whitefish Mountain Resort, on the Kintla boardwalk, where we operate Whitefish Mountain Resort's Exclusive Sales Office. In Bigfork our office is located near Flathead Lake on Electric Avenue. Each Office is designed provide high traffic retail exposure for our listings and to be a resource for both our agents and prospective buyers and sellers.

In 2010, we established a relationship with Southwest Montana properties in Bozeman, Montana, to further our Glacier Sotheby's International Realty presence in western Montana. This acquisition has enabled us to take advantage of marketing both Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks and to be visible to people interested anywhere in Western Montana.

In 2011, we proudly announced a relationship with Sotheby’s International Realty Canada opened in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With this, Glacier Sotheby's International Realty forged a relationship that gives us the opportunity to offer properties located in Montana via the Calgary Real Estate Board, www.creb.com, to prospective purchasers in Calgary. This relationship will put us in a position to expose our listings to the expanding population of Canadian buyers interested in US properties.
